We started meeting for breakfast in 2006, with only four original members. It was hard getting the idea off and running, but after contacting the Dallas Morning News in January, 2007, a reporter called, and the rest is history.
The Dallas Morning News ran a nice article about Morning Maniacs and our group took off from there. We now have over three hundred members and we keep growing. We give the Dallas Morning News a lot of credit for giving us a "kick start".
Since then there have been articles written in the McKinney Magazine and The Courier Gazette. With these publications, classic car enthusiasts have found their way to our breakfast meetings on Saturday mornings.
